I was accepted at the university of Perpignan (UPVD).

I got a scolarship of 800 euros for one semester.

What is the student lifestyle like in Perpignan?

There are volunteer activities in the university and outside, Erasmus students are outgoing and always together.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Perpignan to other students?

I do recommend it, it is a calm city, sunny all year, there's public transportation so you can go to the beaches or the mountains.

What is the food like?

It is mostly fast food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Perpignan?

I found one with the crous, it was between 250/300 euros.

How much does it cost to live in Perpignan?

Monthly between 200/300 euros it depends what you want to buy.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes the French language is easy to get to grips with and absolutely there are courses available for erasmus students.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Perpignan from your city?

By airplane or with train from Paris.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Perpignan?

Ofla bar

Kosmopolitain near the university, a Lebanese restaurant just in front of the theatre.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Collioure, Canet, Argeles sur mer, Barcelone... theatre de l'archipel, castel de Perpignan

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Perpignan in the future?

Just enjoy your time there and do as much activities as you can and travel cities aux alentours.
