El Paseo- this is a street that has all the designer shops it has Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Escada, and many more! It has a lot of jewelry stores and other non brand name clothing stores. It is also filled with art galleries you can go walk and tour. This is a very nice street to walk around and eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some restaurants include:
California Pizza Kitchen- great pizzas, pastas and salads! This is one of my favorite restaurants and I have been going here for years
Tommy Bahama- I love this restaurant, they have a beautiful outdoor seating area and on the weekends they have Caribbean music. The food is amazing and they serve you warm bread with cinnamon butter.
Piero’s PizzaVino- this is a great Italian restaurants, I love the vodka pink pasta it is amazing!
Jillian’s- one of my favorite restaurants and not because it is a family friend of mine but because the food is amazing. They give you bread homemade and the best thick bread I have ever had! All the dishes are specialty and amazing. It is a family owned and operated restaurant and it is in a beautiful setting of an old house converted into a restaurant.
Daily Grill- another great restaurant with lots to choose from on the menu! The house specialties are usually the best or the sand dabs!
Café Des Beaux-Arts- this is a great French restaurant; I love the crepes for dessert!
Thai Smile- great for Thai food, they have amazing curry.
Clementine Gourmet Marketplace & Café- this place is French and very good, they have a section of pastries and you have to try them!
Wilma & Freida- one of my favorite breakfast/ brunch places. They have homemade pop tarts, which is to die for! They have great waffles and eggs. I love this place and they have pastries as well.
The Pastry Swan/ The Fix- this is a great place for breakfast and lunch! They have a lot of items on the menu. My favorite is almond milk with chai powder to drink and to eat they have he best crepe pancakes!
Westfield Shopping Mall- this is the only mall in the area, it has a lot of verities and good to shop! It holds an H&M and Forever 21.
Living Desert Zoo and Gardens-this place is very fun to go to and see all the desert animals! They have special events such as camel ridings, depending on the year. There is also a lot of desert gardens you can walk around, very beautiful.
The River- this is an outdoor shopping and restaurant area, which also holds a movie theater. This is a fun place to go because you can do dinner and a movie or lunch and a movie! Very nice place to walk around.
Hikes; Bump n’ grind and The Cross- these are great hikes as well, the bump n’ grind is a bit longer than the cross.
Then there’s Indian Wells where if you are there at the right time they host the BNP Paribas Open. That is very fun to go to! I love the tennis tournaments and so many people come.
Indian wells has numerous restaurants that you can dine at as well! One of my favorites is Eureka.
Next to Indian Wells is La Quinta, which also is a fun city to explore with lots of great things to do. Some restaurants include; Lavender, Jackalope Ranch, Okura Robata Grill & Sushi Bar, Las Casuelas Quinta, Vicky’s of Santa Fe, The Broken Yolk Café.
There is a great resort there called La Quinta Resort you should go walk around or eat there because it is a Spanish style resort and is so beautiful.
There is also old town La Quinta that has many great restaurants and a great ice cream place called Nitroinfusions, which makes ice cream using nitrogen!
