Jericho

Jericho, the lowest point on earth. This city has become one of the biggest tourist attractions in Palestine due to its historical and religious significance both in Islam and Christianity. Nowadays it has become famous for growing plantains, as well as for its Water Land; a water amusement park, which is just perfect for the city's average hot weather that can range up to 40 degrees Celsius.

Monastery of Temptation

One of the most significant sites is the Monastery of Temptation; a Greek Orthodox monastery located on the Mount of Temptation and overlooks the city as well as the Jordan Valley. Tourists are given the option to go up the monastery by a cable car, but walking up the stairs is a journey worth its while.
