Why did you choose to go to Palermo, Italia?
Palermo is famous for Mafia but trust me, it's more than that. The weather is always good, food is delicious, people are friendly, so many beautiful places around, living costs are cheap.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I had lived in Palermo for 6 months. It's was awesome, I have to say. With 700 euro per month I felt good and I could save money on travel and shopping.
What is the student lifestyle like in Palermo?
Work hard, Party harder!
Would you recommend the city and the University of Palermo to other students?
Yes, yes. It was the best decision I made.
What is the food like?
Awesome, so many traditional food you have to try.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Palermo?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Palermo?
550€.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Of course, they organize 2 courses during the year: Winter School and Summer school for learning Italian.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Palermo from your city?
By flight.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Palermo?
Vucciria, Ballaro... Dont worry you'll find so many places.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Palermo?
Mournir, the Vespa café, MUG.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Mondello, Capo Gallo, Montepellegrino.
