The starting point!
Hi! Welcome to my blog.
This post will be mainly about my choice regarding the receiving Country, and the reasons why. Let's start!
I am André, a portuguese management student who loves to travel and discover new Countries.
One day, a friend of mine, told me all his experiences during his Erasmus Program and the more he spoke, more I felt that I needed to have this type of experience or I would regret later.
So I started to explore a bit of Erasmus students, their experiences, their reasons and I can nominate 3 main reasons for my decision of studying abroad:
- The improvement of my curriculum, the possibility of learning and gaining more skills and of course, my main reason, travelling.
- In Portugal, as far as Europe trips are concerned, they are usually more expensive, than from another European country, because since Portugal is on the West corner of Europe, we have to cover greater distances.
- So I started to think in which countries I would be able to travel the most, while being able to gain new skills, and after asking for a ton of opinions I decided to go to Northern Italy.
And that is how I got to Padova, a small rural city with a charming old look. Basically, we can see Padova as a huge university Campus, since in every corner of the city you will have a canteen, a residence, a university department and a library. One other curiosity of Padova is that it holds one of the largest squares in the World, Prato della valle.
Since I was so close from the center of Europe, I travelled not only inside Italy but also around other European Countries. In this blog I will share with you one city per post, regardless if it was on Italy or another Country.
So let's start! Next destination: Venice!
Join me in the next experiences if you want to know a little bit of many cities, cultures and countries.
Bye bye travellers!
