Why did you choose to go to Ostrava, Czech Republic?

I chose Czech Republic first of all because I wanted to improve my English, and also because from Ostrava is easy to move and make many trips around the Europe.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Five months and I received 230 € per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ostrava?

I think that the Erasmus student lifestyle is the same in all the cities, study and party, without break.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ostrava to other students?

Yes, of course. Because in this University and in these dorms you have the possibility to meet many friends and to to be happy together all the time, like a very big family.

What is the food like?

This is a very difficult question, in fact the food is the only one negative thing.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ostrava?

Yes, I ended up renting a room for about 100 € per month.

How much does it cost to live in Ostrava?

To live in Ostrava is not so very expensive, I love the crown!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are many language courses arranged by the students to give the possibility to learn new languages. I think it's a beautifull initiative.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ostrava from your city?

The easiest is to travel by plane to Katowice, and then take the train or bus to Ostrava.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ostrava?

Depends on the day. Because every day there are different things to do.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ostrava?

No, impossible. But maybe I don't know these restaurants because I arrived one month ago.
