very green city. Also very calm. I wanted to see a European city with less popularity.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

4 months. 300 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Osijek?

Thursday nights for students. There are a lot of places. Starts at 12 pm and ends at 5 am in the morning.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Osijek to other students?

very nice people. So friendly staff in every bar and coffee shop.
However university staff is not always speaking in english. Also If you are coming from non-eu country they wont give you a stay permit for first two months at least. International relations office previously announced for scholarship for foor 100 euro per month in student card. But thats only for bachelor and master degree students. If you are a phD student, you dont have that right. There are a lot of coffee places however not so many eating places for students and If you cant eat cafeterias in campus food will be a problem for you.

Majority of the classes are in Croatian.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Osijek?

850 kuna for dorm room for two people. This is the cheapest option.

How much does it cost to live in Osijek?

300-400 euro will be enough

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

there are language courses. Croatian language is not so easy but you can learn

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Osijek from your city?

first go to the budapest zagreb or belgrad than take the bus.
