I would say balanced student lifestyle between social and academic life.

It is quite vary for me from 180 euro to 300 euro per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Olomouc? Is there any advice you can give?

Honestly, I have no idea about how difficult it is to look for private accommodation since I was staying in a dormitory. But as far as I can tell choosing to live in one of the university dorms is one thing that I will never regret. They provide us with lots of useful and accessible facilities.

Also, personally I think my dorm (Generál Svoboda Dormitory) is one of the best university dorms in Olomouc. It is located in front of the Faculty of Natural Science and near to the Faculty of Law. Well basically, everything from the university dorms is within walking distance. Therefore, you do not need to use any kind of public transportation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

So far so good, I do not have any difficulties in finding tasty food at reasonable prices.

What places would you recommend visiting in Olomouc?

Olomouc Town Hall, Holy Trinity Column, Astronomical Clock, St. Kopecek Church and Monastery, Museum of Archdiocese, Katedrala sv. Vaclava, Arion Fountain, St. Michael's Church, Museum of Modern Art, Bezrucovy Sady and Botanical Garden.

Is it good to eat out in Olomouc? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, indeed! I have so many favourite restaurants and cafes in the centre such as The Kathmandu Nepali Restaurant, Green Bar Veget, Taste of India Restaurant, Špagetárna, Naše Café, Caffè Dolce Vita, and Café 87. Also, the food from the university canteen is worth to try and not to mention the price is really cheap!

What advice would you give future students heading to Olomouc?

Be prepare and get ready for the cold and windy weather during autumn and winter!
