What is it like to live in Nuremberg? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city has kind of an old part and a newer part. You can experience the city's history but also spend some times in modern boutiques.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nuremberg?

There are many students as it is a city with a few Universities and is near to Erlangen. There are several parties going on during the week, so you won't be bored. You just have to know the right places to go and you'll have a lot of fun.

How much does it cost to live in Nuremberg?

I would reference Nürnberg in the level of average living costs. Depending where you stay there are some differences (city centre or suburbs), but all in all it's affordable.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Nuremberg? Is there any advice you can give?

Depending on the hight of your budget it might be not so easy to find a fitting accommodation. But there are several possibilities to look for something affordable, for example, the newspaper or the German website Gesucht.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Nürnberg has some traditional dishes, for example Nürnberger Bratwürste or Sauerkraut. It is definitely worth trying the typical food!

What places would you recommend visiting in Nuremberg?

You should definitely visit the Nürnberg castle. You'll have a fantastic view over the whole city.

What advice would you give future students heading to Nuremberg?

Look for people who are local, they probably know the best spots.
