My Sapa schedule self-sufficiency in 3 days 2 nights (detail)
Sapa is my favorite town in North Vietnam. Where to enjoy fresh air cool in the spring - fall - autumn. And also snow in winter. In Sapa there is not only the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, which has Fansipan peak - the highest peak in Indochina. But there are valley terraces in Muong Hoa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Ta Phin charming soul.
I was lucky on the occasion of September, rice is ripe. And the last thing that you can find here is the ethnic minority villages of H'mong, Dao Do, Dzay ...
What is your favorite in Sapa?
If you ask me the most in Sapa, I will think of being close to nature, thinking of fresh air in the early morning. Think of the H'Mong Hoa dresses, colorful red Dao, the unique pattern. Sapa has many tourist attractions and interesting experience for you. Viet Anh has two articles dedicated to these two topics for you to reference is 11 Sapa tourist destination can not give up and the 10 most enjoyable experience in Sapa
Sapa tour schedule 3 days 2 nights (depart by bus)
Last trip in September/2016 I choose to depart by bus. Since the construction of the highway Hanoi - Lao Cai distance is greatly reduced so I no longer take the train as before.
The bus you choose to depart is Hung Thanh car because of the house near the foreign language university (Hung Thanh welcoming guests), and the car is Inter Bus Line because this new car company, good service, go fast and convenient For those who are near the old town.
Together we start the tour Sapa 3 days 2 nights !
Night 5: On the bus
You should take the last bus at 22h at the gate of the foreign language school of Hung Thanh car or flight 21h30 Interbusline 13 Nguyen Huu Huan (Old Quarter).
These two companies will run around 4-5am and will be in Sapa for you to check-in, saving one night in Sapa.
Both cars Viet Anh have gone through, quality service is very good. Vietnamese people like to go Interbus Line because the car mainly serves foreigners so not afraid of tight, fast new car, smooth, there is also the phone charging port on the chair.
Anyone in Cau Giay should go to Hung Thanh for convenience of picking up at foreign language port, not moving to office in Tran Quang Khai (near the old town). You in the old town should go to Interbusline.
Note: You need to book in advance 3-5 days because usually full tickets, especially the return trip on weekends.

Cat Cat is a small village located 2km from the center of town, here you can find out the life of the Hmong people, watching the scenery wild nature, fresh. Cat Cat is particularly beautiful in the season of rice and rice. Besides Cat Cat terraces, there is also a beautiful waterfall.

5am: Arrive Sapa check-in hotel room and deposit. You should rent a room in the center of Cau May Street or Fansipan because these two locations are quiet, near the market convenient for eating. Or you can also rent a room opposite Sapa central lake, also near the cafeteria and café, but walking into the central part of the lost a stretch.
* Tip: Often the bus will stop at the bus stop ~ 1km from the center, you can catch a taxi to get to the hotel if you bring a lot of things, go with the family with the elderly and young children.
8am: after storage, personal birth and stay at the hotel. You should always rent a motorcycle to move, then find a place to eat breakfast. There are many breakfast restaurants around Sapa (Pho, vermicelli, porridge average price ~ 40k / bowl). You can eat right at the food street right in the square.
8h45 ': choose Cat Cat or cable car to top of Fansipan (Fansipan is the highest peak in 3 Indochina, take a day trip, if you can not climb the cable car can buy 600k per person. In the old days, Viet Anh had to climb two days and one night to get new mountains. In short, if you have not, and do not have to pay the cable car price should go offline).

Sea cloud on the top of fansipan.
Because I was climbing Fansipan then I chose Cat Cat: Cat Cat is a small village just below the town of Sapa, where the H'mong people live. Landscape around the village is very peaceful, people here go beyond slash, burn, daily they brocade weaving and candle wax. You should spend half a day to go around the village, watching, learning about the life and culture of the Hmong here. If you go to the right time to harvest or harvest rice, you will be immersed in the atmosphere of labor and enthusiasm with the people here. To go down Cat Cat you should rent a motorbike that will save a lot of time
Tickets to visit 40 000 VND / person, free car.
12h: I go back to the town center for lunch. At noon, you can eat rice / noodle / rice noodle in the food court, or restaurants on Cau May street. The average price for a piece of fried rice is 4-50k / piece.
13h: back to hotel for a while.
14h: Departure to Silver Falls - Love Falls - O Quy Ho Pass
The first point on the journey I encountered was Silver Falls. From the distance, the waterfall is like a white silk band that crosses the hill. Water at Silver Falls is used to raise sturgeon and salmon at the fish farm just below the falls. I usually just visit, not to buy tickets, fare 40k / person.
Love Falls, where is associated with the legend of love O Quy Ho guy and sky god.
15h: visit Love Falls and Golden Stream. To get to the Love Water you buy tickets at Tram Ton (70k / person) and walk about 2km. The side of the road is quite beautiful, I set aside the golden stream, when the sun shines down the stream is very beautiful sparkling. I personally prefer to fall in love. This waterfall associated with the legend of a fairy, in a time with friends walking barefoot accidentally met the woodcutter O Quy Ho, she fell in love with him. However, the love of the first and the restrained, she saddened into a bird, crying O Quy Ho skin. I have not met the bird O Quy Ho ever, only met the rainbow in the falls on sunny days, very beautiful.
17h: leaving Love Falls to go to sunset view on the peak of O Quy Ho Pass. The sun will dive down the mountains at 17h30, I especially like the scenery in this place, very romantic and heroic. Stand here you will see the winding winding roads connecting from Lao Cai to Lai Chau. The trucks are just as small as a little bit. The cold days here sit watching the sun go down, eat pork wrap grilled cayenne, rice straw, chewing in the cup of sweet tea is a very interesting experience.
18h30 return to the center of town for dinner. I have three evenings in Sapa, definitely have to try one of the following three (baked goods / hot pot and salmon salad). In Sapa it is always cool, winter is cold, suitable for eating hot pot. Vegetables in Sapa are also delicious. I like hot pot dishes and baked goods. Restaurant prices in Sapa are average, not too high.
20h30 after dinner you should take a stroll around the town center to take a photo of the stone church. Square. Walk along Cau May old town (there is a small café and pub you can visit).
22h back to the hotel.
Day 2 (Friday): Trekking Lao Chai - Ta Van from morning to afternoon
Day 2 will be the most walking day. It was also the day when I discovered the upland ethnic culture most. Do you know Sapa is one of the world's most attractive walking destinations? Only in Sapa have such long walks of interest. The footsteps lead me from the village of the Hmong, to the village of the Day. You should purchase a one day trekking tour or hire a local (H'Mong women you met in the town) as a guide. They will introduce you about the customs, culture and people here. Landscape in Lao Chai valley - Ta Van beautiful soul.
There are many routes, many types of tours, I bought a tour 290k / person they pick up from Sapa, take to Lao Chai and start walking. The whole road about 9km, passing through the village, passing rice paddies, lunch then start on trails hard to go. This tour is only suitable for young people to explore, but with families with young children and old people they will have their own tours, easier paths to go. Generally the second day is an interesting day.
If you do not buy a tour, do not hire a local guide, you can also get your own motorcycle. In the afternoon, you can go to the ancient rock and motorbike to the piece of the temple (where Topas Ecologe is). This part of me is the quiet and beautiful way. Is the cliff, one side of the cliff).
Sleep back to Ta Van or to the town center. This evening I choose to sleep back homestay in Ta Van. Believe me, this will be a romantic, relaxed experience if you are young. And an enjoyable experience with the kids in the family.
Sleeping homestay in Ta Van extremely quiet, in the morning wake up around the rice field, is the grass, all night hear the murmuring streams. Certainly this experience in the center of Sapa town is not available.
I sleep at Ta Van Ecologic Homestay, my sister is Quyen, very hospitable, here I feel warm and more important than being close to nature (homestay surrounded by rice fields). You can book your room at Ta Van Ecologic Homestay at Vntrip.vn (using VNTRIP_DULICHBUI24 code you will get 20% discount on room rate)
If you go back to the town center you can stay at his brother's Southern Hotel - the hotel is located near the market, walk to the square about 2 minutes. You can find information about Phuong Nam Hotel on Agoda.com and call Hai Hai 0966.485.585
21h30 get back to Hanoi. When I was on the Inter Bus Line for nearly 5 hours is already in Hanoi. This car is very new, serving mainly foreigners (stops in Hanoi Old Quarter is not My Dinh bus station) should go quickly, do not catch passengers along the road
