Nafplio
Continuing our trip through the Peloponnes, we also saw Nafplio (Navplion), a small town which was more important only in Byzantine times and in 1825 when the first Greek Parlament convened there.
Near the coast, I could take one of my best photos ever from the entire trip!
The museum showed us some archaic ceramics and ornaments.
A special (slightly creepy) feat were these demonic heads, probably used for rituals.
This piece of ceramic shows a warrior about to kill his opponent ... Greek city-states always fought fo their independence.
