San-Montano Bay – Ischia Island

I was travelling to Ischia several times during my Erasmus and it felt myself just like in paradise.

One of the best impressions was the visit of the Negombo thermal baths. This small oasis is situated in the stunning bay called San-Montano. Ischia is famous for its thermal parks and natural recreation centers, and even if Negombo is not the biggest one, it is the most picturesque without any doubts.

The main territory of this recreation park is located on the mountain side. The narrow paths surrounded by the tropical plants takes you higher and higher, the variety of pools takes the breath away. While enjoying one kind of water area, you could never guess which will be the next one around the corner.

Top Negombo places with the best memories:

• Kneipp basin with two water flows, hot and cold. Such system has a positive health effect;
• Pool with waterfalls – it gives an intensive massage for a whole body;

  

• Natural cave with a hydro-massage option and contrast water;
• Various types of saunas with a fresh invigorative shower after that.

  

P.S. I will finish with a small lifehack: liberate you day fully to stay in Negombo and don’t make any active plans for the evening. Thermal park is a slow and lazy activity, so let yourself relax!
