What is it like to live in Nancy? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Nancy is a lovely city. With about 400,000 inhabitants, it is big enough to find every kind of entertainment (theater, bowling, bars, restaurants... ). The architecture is also really nice. If you're a fan of History, there is a lot to do because of the city's historical background.

It is easy to travel inside the city and distance are usually walkable.

What is the student lifestyle like in Nancy?

Studying in Nancy is great, there is about 90,000 students in Nancy. Lots of students are foreigners so if you want to meet student with different culture, Nancy is the good spot.

How much does it cost to live in Nancy?

Not that much. Prices of accommodations are reasonable and you can eat for almost less than 100 euros.

What places would you recommend visiting in Nancy?

Is it good to eat out in Nancy? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are lots of nice restaurants/fast-foods. My favorite places are Mex'illico, Voyou, Biscotto.

But you can also find fast-food brands like Burger King, Five Guys, KFC, Mc Donald or some nice restaurants like le Vaudemont.

Is the nightlife good in Nancy? Where is good to go?

If you're studying in Nancy, you will probably go out a lot! In the center, you'll find different bars, for example the Mc Carty, L'Embassy, the Factory, the Little Delirium, les Artistes. All these places are well-known by students.

If you want to go to nightclubs, the best clubs are on Stanislas Square: Les Caves and L'Arq. But be aware that usually French people don't go to clubs before 1:30 am.
