What is it like to live in Namur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Namur is a city smaller than Liege or Brussels which allows to do many things on foot or by public transport. I like living in Namur "beaucoup", as it is the perfect mix between city and nature.

What is the student lifestyle like in Namur?

There are a lot of activities for students organized by the University of Namur or the association of students. There are bars with karaoke evenings, exhibitions and entertainment at certain times of the year.

How much does it cost to live in Namur?

It depends on the accommodation... A studio costs between 400 € and 800 € while a student room can be varied between 200 € and 400 € depending on the situation of the building.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Namur? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult. There are housing proposals all year round, especially on Facebook.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Namur counts with 3 supermarkets in its center and many more on the border of the town.

What places would you recommend visiting in Namur?

The citadel is one of my favorite places and the first one I show to my friends when they come to visit Namur.

There is a wide variety of restaurants in Namur (from Greece to Thai and Spanish tapas). My favourite dish is the sushi of sushi box!

Is the nightlife good in Namur? Where is good to go?

Yes, there are many bars and some student places; all of them close at 1 AM so you can have a good night.
