The Malta experience

My weeks staying at Malta were truly inspiring to me because of what I've learnt and experienced. Jet2holidays was my booking point to Malta at the Qawra Palace Hotel on half board for seven nights. My room was a double or twin room with inland view and balcony. The atomospehere was nice, sunny and hot with great beaches and landscapes throughout Malta and the surrounding island of Comino. Tourist sites and shops were also very impressive and memorable. A trip to Malta is worth the travel and experience.

The Qawra Palace Hotel's restaurants and facilties were well enjoyed from the night entertainment near the outdoors pool area across the Hotel to the morning and night buffet. What I enjoyed the most is the wide variety of food available for breakfast and dinner. At breakfast the meals were pretty much the same. There were four different cooked styles of eggs. For example, my favorite was eggs cooked over easy which is cooking the eggs on a fry pan until the egg whites are fully cooked with the yolk still soft. There were also a variety of breads such as wheat, white, bagels and crossaints. Different cereals were on displays as well as fruits, vegetables, milk, butter packets and grilled tomato slices. Fountain fruits drinks with coffee and tea were also available. As for dinner, it was top of the line from breadcrumb salmon, chicken and olive beef like main courses. Those meals were served by men standing within a large space that buffet area surrounds. The deserts were also new to me and very tasty. There were many cakes/pies like deserts with different flavors and ice creams were also available. Each night different meals and deserts were served. My stay there was definitely worth it. A trip to Malta is worth the travel and experience.

Being from Miami, Florida, I am accustomed to the sunshine and heat with beautiful sandy beaches and yearly tourist attractions by the thousands. Malta was no different with the sun, heat, beaches and tourism. Every day I constantly saw groups of young tourists either checking in or checking out. I had the privelage of going on a sea trip to Comino island and passing by the monumment of St. Paul's Bay, the famous biblical ship wreck. I also had an excellent swim in the crystal clear blue waters at the Blue Lagoon, where the high salt content enabled me to float, something which I was never able to do anywhere else. The next two days I was on an open bus tour heading north. I got off a few stops and took pictures in Valletta and visited a book store called Agenda book store. The next day, I went to watch The Shipped Wrecked at The Shipped Wreck theater. It was very inspirational and very touching becasue it is a documentary of Paul the apostle, a story found in the Christian bible. Lastly, I went jet skiing, which was the first time for me, across from the Qawra Palace. Therefore, I think a trip to Malta is worth the travel and experience.
