What is it like to live in Msida? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is hard to talk about Msida alone as Malta is very small so I will talk about Malta. First when tou arrive everything is great, first you don't notice the arrogance of people and the absence of basic health and safety issues. Also if you come in summer and everyone tells you there's no winter and you don't need heating, you later find out that that's wrong but the landlord tells you to pay for installation yourself in his house :P

What is the student lifestyle like in Msida?

Student lifestyle is very easy, it's really relaxed, nothing gets done on time, but as long as it's free right..

How much does it cost to live in Msida?

About as much as in LA, when you later find out how the citizens rip off foreigners and all the racism and xenophobia which is present.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Msida? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's very easy, landlords try to rwnt their placed out for long term before the problems of paint falling off and bed bugs starts to be visible.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Just go to Italian restaurants the best decision you will make. Unless you prefer overcooked, too salty with lots of fat or cream dishes then Maltese cuisine is for you.

What places would you recommend visiting in Msida?

In Msida there's a junior college and a good aerobics gym (a Hungarian girl is the one to go to)

Is it good to eat out in Msida? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There's a nice Indian restaurant near the bay

Is the nightlife good in Msida? Where is good to go?

No, have to go to paceville, or other more elegant spots

What advice would you give future students heading to Msida?

Don't stay too long in Malta, and stay close to foreigners, as they are the only ones who will help drag you out of the crap :D

Were there bed bugs in your room? And were you staying at the hostel in Msida? I’ve just been staying there and there were bedbugs in my room.
