The town of AL-Hoceima, built on the cliff at the western end of the bay, overlooks the beach of Quémado, which offers exceptional panoramas. This beach, located at the foot of the cliff Quémado where you can see and amazing sunset, it is undoubtedly the most interesting beach of the city and the most frequented by summer visitors (as you see in the picture below) because it’s so close to the city center, and has an excellent quality of sand, the beach is equipped with a seaside resort (Hôtel Quémado and Hôtel Mohamed V). On Quemado beach you can also rent materials to practice wind games if you are a fan of it.

People in Al Hoceima are so kind and friendly, they are Amazigh in origins, but now they speak Arabic, French, Spanish and some of them are also English speakers. You can find also many tourist guides there, and then you will have no problem asking them about places you want to see.

Food and drinks:
The city center of El Hoceima is full of restaurants, coffee and bar, where you can eat so many kinds of Moroccan traditional food, and they are famous by doing really tasty meals with fish, because their city is famous in Morocco by fishing, and have a huge fishing port (in the picture below), then they have so many kinds of delicious fish, and I must say that the sardine of Al Hoceima is the most delicious in Morocco.

Night in Al Hoceima city :
At night, there is a Cancer organized in the city center, sometimes for Moroccan traditional music, and other night for international music, you can also be lucky if you go in carnival days, when Al Hoceima become so amazing but very crowded. For those who like to go to night clubs or bars, the city center is full of it, or you can go to night club of some hotels like (Hôtel Quémado and Hôtel Mohamed V), then if you have a room in the hotel it’s for free, but if you don’t have, the entrance is around 20 euros.

Transport:
Al Hoceima city have buses and taxis, but sometimes you must wait so much to take it. So because it a small city, I recommend to you to go by walking to the beach or the city center, use the transport just for long distance like if you want to go to another beach out of the city, because there are so many and every beach has a special charm.

Accommodation :
Because this beach is in the city center of Al Hoceima City, you can find easily a place to stay, because this city is very touristic and there are so many Hotels, Hostels, and also people who can rent you houses or apartments.

The price of hotels is depending on how many stars it has, the better ones are (Hôtel Quémado and Hôtel Mohamed V) which are 4 stars hotels, and the price there is around 60 to 70 euros. For houses and apartments, it depends on the distance to the Quemado Beach and the city center. Usually it’s start from 25 euros to 200 euros, because some houses are really huge, nice and can be for a big family.
