What is it like to live in Monterrey? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Monterrey is really cool, but the best is the university, they know what their doing, they have good professors. UDEM is an amazing opportunity for anyone, they speak really good English and the people are really friendly. They city has a lot of touristic places like La Huasteca park where you can climb the mountain, also Chipinque, another natural park in the mountain. And the night life is really cool, there's a place call centrito where all the clubs and bars are at. But I do recommend dressing nice when you go out because the entrance guards at clubs can get a little picky, but overall it's so much fun. Mexicans are big on partying.

What is the student lifestyle like in Monterrey?

You really learn a lot, the professors are really helpful and the university has good spaces for studying and extracurricular activities.
