How much does it cost to live in Minsk?

Minsk is the center of Europe. Many prices saving from soviet time. All costs will basing on your life standarts. You can have cheap and rich life here. It is cheaper than Europe and you will feel that you are rich man with 50$ here.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Minsk? Is there any advice you can give?

It is easy at all. Many students from other belarusian cities have free accommodation in soviet style dormitories. If you want own flat or room you can find it for 100-400$ like in baltic countries. Minsk is growing city and flat rent is good and trendy business here.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Belarus is agriculture country with own cuisine. It has all kinds of tasty foods in supermarkets. Also it has many restaurants with Italian, asian, russian, japan food.
My favorite food is belarusian chips, seafood, sugar free bread and sweet products with fructose.

What places would you recommend visiting in Minsk?

I recommend to visiting Nemiga street, all supermarkets, palace of art, aqua park liebiajiy.

There are many food courts and cafes in shoping centers.

Is the nightlife good in Minsk? Where is good to go?

If you like it it will be cool place for you because Minsk girls, bars and clubs are so pretty. The most popular place with youngs is Zybizkaya street.

What advice would you give future students heading to Minsk?

Young people in Minsk know English well but old people is soviet citizens and know Russian only. Minsk is very friendly city.
