What is it like to live in Miami? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Miami can feel like being on vacation 24/7 since that weather sure feels that way! Depending where you live, it can either be bustling or very quiet.

What is the student lifestyle like in Miami?

Student lifestyle is exciting. There are many things to keep you entertained. You can go to many free lectures at museums, art openings, concerts, bars and nightclubs. Miami night life is non-stop. You can literally party every night here.

How much does it cost to live in Miami?

Living in Miami can be very expensive. But if you are smart you can make your money stretch. Roughly renting a room can be $500-$700, then another $300 in food, entertainment, and any other personal expenses.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Miami? Is there any advice you can give?

In many instances you can go month to month and rent without a contract and utilities will be included in rent price.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The most food options are Latin and Carribean. But you can find food options from almost every country in the world.

My favorite Latin dessert would be cuban coffee and a guava and cheese pastry.

My favorite snack are empanadas filled with spinach and cheese or various meats.
