What is it like to live in Mersin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

If you like quiet and peaceful places (+sea :) ) you should definetely come this city.You can taste the real Turkish culture and meet nice and friendly people , though the population is not so high.

What is the student lifestyle like in Mersin?

Not much party really but at nights, you come by for a drink to nice pubs where sea and you meet at and you can enjoy the nice warm night with your friends.

How much does it cost to live in Mersin?

This is the best part i guess.Unlike Istanbul ,Ankara; Mersin is a really cheap city for students.3-4 euro for meal and again 3-4 euro beer or shot.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Mersin? Is there any advice you can give?

Not at all.Just ask your mentor or coordinator to find nice and closest flat or dorm to your school.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Come on :) this is all Turkish cuisine , no chance to they may be bad.

Yep.You can try the restaurants in Forum and also in Marina.

Is the nightlife good in Mersin? Where is good to go?

dont expect to see crazy parties like you used to be in Europe ones but it is quite nice.

What advice would you give future students heading to Mersin?

Dont bother to get your coat 'cause it's gonna be hot :))
