Whose dream is it not to fly? I sure did dream this a lot as a kid. Sure, not in a plane, just spreading my arms (wings!) and leaping into the wide blue, but still: Seeing the Alps from above for example is pretty awesome, isn't it? We are actually so privileged to be granted this opportunity. After every flight, I am a slightly different person because this makes me think a lot ... does anyone else feel the same way?

Weston Airfield

Weston Airport is a small civic (ex-military) airfield between Lucan and Celbridge. They fly small aircraft (but they fly!).

Weston Airfield

This row of airplanes is my private property (of course haha) ... it reminds me of a similar airfield close to my home in Germany where I went a lot as a kid.

The beige aircraft to the right seems to be a an ex-military vehicle. The hangar seems big enough to me ...

The flora of the airfield is made up of grass and wild flowers, quite beautiful if you ask me ... my next post will be more historical though!
