Travel to malaga, Spain
Malaga :
Malaga city doesn’t have so many places to visit. When I arrived in Malaga I was a little bit disappointed. I was sure that it will be normal city. But after I did not want to come back home. Malaga is different than other cities in Spain, like Barcelona or Sevilla. We spent in Malaga two days. We were sleeping in a hostel room for 12 people. But I should mention that it was one of the best places where I was sleeping during travelling. The hotel was in the city centre. The street where is the hostel was very beautiful, full of restaurants and during the night full of people. The room was very clean and cosy. All Hostels were really nice and the owners very friendly.
Food in Malaga:
Malaga has a lot of small restaurants. And for sure during your travelling days there, you must try Sangria and another kind of wine. They have also delicious tapas and a really good kind of coffee. Prices in restaurants are different, depending on what you would like to eat. But for sure you should sit in the restaurant and during your meal you will have theopportunity to see amazing views. By the way, you can also try fresh fruits like oranges and bananas. We bought delicious fruits in Mercado Atarazanas where you can Also buy fresh seafood.
Places to visit:
The weather in Malaga is perfect, so, if you want to visit this city the best option is walking. Malaga doesn’t have a lot of historical places. During visiting Malaga is worth of walking by small streets because you can see really amazing buildings and feel the typical Spanish atmosphere. We weren't tired, so we were walking also during the night. The sunset was amazing. This city looks totally different during the night, than during the day. It is strange and good at the same time, that in Malaga, even that there were a lot of tourists, you can really rest. During the night people in Malaga do not sleep, they meet with their family and friends in restaurants.
Places which I recommend you to visit:
I don’t know a lot of information about this Places, then I will write them in a list with some pictures :
Parque de Malaga : in this park you can rest and enjoy the beauty around you.
Santa Iglesia Catedral Basilica de la Encarnacion – symbol of Malaga, really huge church
Museum Picasso : In this city was born the very famous painter Pablo Picasso, so you must visit this museum. Also another place which is worth to see is his house.
Gibralfaro Castle : from this castle you can see all the city.
Museum Carmen.
Mercado de Atarazanas.
Antigua Casa de Guardia.
Calle Marques de Larios.
Alcazaba de Malaga.
Beach la Malagueta.
So even the fact that I was a little bit disappointed when I arrived in Malaga, after this two day I was totally falling in love with the city. It is really worth to visit. You do not need to hurry up if you want to visit some places. You can enjoy your time and during walking around the city, you will see gorgeous architecture and you will feel the typical Spanish atmosphere. I really recommend this city.
