What is it like to live in Málaga? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Malaga is a young and open city where everyone is at home. Under a bright blue sky, you can enjoy fantastic tapas and stroll in front of the beaches. A city that always offers a good smile.

What is the student lifestyle like in Málaga?

Malaga is the student's paradise. A cultural life is mixed with a wide variety of outdoor activities, nightlife and everything at a fantastic price. Malaga is one of the preferred destinations for European students.

How much does it cost to live in Málaga?

Malaga is an affordable city for everyone. Accommodation is relatively cheap compared to other European capitals and the food is affordable and delicious. Restaurants, shops and more, offer good prices and quality. There is always a good option for any pocket.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Málaga? Is there any advice you can give?

Not especially if you share a room. Being a very tourist city there are always offers available.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Malaga has a wide variety of gastronomy, where fish has a special role. Eating fish in front of the beach is a very pleasant experience. Tapas are delicious artistic dishes to accompany with a good wine, in any of the typical bars in the city. Malaga also offers haute cuisine experiences for the most demanding palates. Of course, no one will leave Malaga without trying the Serrano ham, a good seafood dish or the popular paella.

What places would you recommend visiting in Málaga?

Definitely the Arab fortress where you can take magnificent photos and the new area of the Roman theater. Of course, walking along the promenade is a luxury available to everyone. We can get lost in the alleys and discover magnificent sites, old churches and houses from the Middle Ages.

Is it good to eat out in Málaga? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Going out and stopping at a bar for tapas is a tradition. For a couple of euros you can eat and drink well accompanied by friends in an incredible atmosphere. You don't need much to have fun in Malaga.

Is the nightlife good in Málaga? Where is good to go?

Malaga does not sleep, and less during the weekend. The bars close at 3 at night and then the lights of the nightclubs come on until the morning. If you have a car you can go to the coast where there are plenty of trendy clubs. Endless party.

What advice would you give future students heading to Málaga?

Enjoy life, every minute counts.
