What do you think about living in Málaga? Would you recommend it? What is it like?

Málaga is a big city where streets are clean, every place is well connected thanks to the buses network and you can enjoy no matter what you like.

How is the student environment?

It is really good, but above all, it's because it has bars, pubs and clubs for students.

How much does it cost to live in Málaga?

It depends on the place you live. Flats close to the University have good prices. Halls of residence are more expensive except the one of the University of Málaga.

Was it difficult to find your accommodation?

I was living in a hall of residence called Campus Confort San Carlos and I found it on the website. I recommend it because of the flexibility of its schedules, the freedom they give to students, the kindness of the staff, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, and so on.

How is the food? What are your favourite dishes?

Food always depends on the place you go but as the typical dish of Málaga I would say it's la porra and a sweet called loca, that is like a palmier.

What places would you recommend to visit in Málaga?

I would recommend to visit “The Alcazaba”, the Cathedral, the park and the port.

And for eating in Málaga? What are your favourite places?

Málaga is the perfect place to eat. Almost any establishment, for example, in Chopp, you can have a drink and a tapa for 2 euros. I also recommend a shop called Sweet Paradise Cupcakes, especialised in American pastry and it is 100% handmade.

What places would you recommend to go out in Málaga?

I don't usually go out partying, I prefer pubs like Siglo XXI.

¿Any advice for future students in Màlaga?

As a city, Málaga won’t disappoint you, but the university could, this depends on the degree and the faculty you choose.
