Why did you choose to go to Malaga, Spain?

Mostly, because I thought I was gonna have some courses in English (which I didn't at last). Also, because of the warm climate, which resembles my country's.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It lasted almost one semester. I received a little less than €2000.

What is the student lifestyle like in Malaga?

Although they study hard and they spend many hours in the library, they also really know how to PARTA-Y!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Malaga to other students?

Yes. Although I wasn't really satisfied with my department, I don't think that is to describe the whole university in general.

What is the food like?

Really delicious! I especially LOVED the tortilla de patatas (it has a very special place in my heart).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Malaga?

No, not really. I already had a good friend of mine living there, so I reached her and she helped me communicate with her landlord and this is how I found my little apartment.

How much does it cost to live in Malaga?

Actually, it's pretty affordable.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me, it wasn't that easy, even though I already had acquired a B1 level in the language. Yes there are and they were helpful.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Malaga from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Malaga?

Even though I am not the kind of person that enjoys clubbing, I really enjoyed it in Málaga (probably due to the music). There are also many many places to drink beer, and play drinking games, which I highly recommend.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Malaga?

There are so so many.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I seriously LOVED the museums.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Malaga in the future?

Please, do yourself a favor and learn the language beforehand, because it's gonna be difficult. Apart from this, just set yourselves free and enjoy it!
