Why did you choose to go to Málaga, Spain?

I was encouraged by the people from Málaga to go there and also because of the fact that it's a city with good weather and beach which I found appealing.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I went for a year and I received just over £3000.

What is the student lifestyle like in Málaga?

It's very lively, you meet new people all the time. If you like parties, there is always one or two you can go to but there are also other things to do like going to pubs or open mics.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Málaga to other students?

If you like small cities, good weather, beaches and where everything is reasonably cheap then I'd highly recommend Málaga for your Erasmus Placement!

What is the food like?

Spanish food is generally good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Málaga?

No, I found it through a website called EasyPiso.

How much does it cost to live in Málaga?

Depends on how much money you spend on food, accommodation and going out. Each month you would probably spend about 300-400€.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Depends on what level you already have. Yes, there are language courses available at the university and they will inform you about everything.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Málaga from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Málaga?

Depends on what you like. If you like parties, go to Velvet Club, Azúcar and Sala Gold, they are some of the most popular places.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Málaga?

I don't usually eat out but when I do, I go to 100 Montaditos tapas bars are usually good.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
