Why did you choose to go to Malaga, Spain?

Because of its atmosphere and beautiful weather and a beach. Additionally, I also wanted to improve my Spanish and meet new people.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have been receiving 300 euro every month for 5 months

What is the student lifestyle like in Malaga?

The student life in malaga is very energetic and alive. There are parties pretty much every day and a lot of student organisations that take care of international students and them having the best possible time on their exchange.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Malaga to other students?

I would absolutely recommend the city of Malaga. Its absolutely beautiful with a very special vibe and nice people all around. on the other hand my experience with the University is quite bad and I wouldn't recommend that for other students. The university doesnt have a system for the Erasmus students and its a giant mess and chaos.

What is the food like?

the food is very nice and quite cheap comparing to other cities and countries I have visited. But it depends on what someone likes and doesn't. But Malaga is definitely a place where everyone can find something to eat regarding their criteria.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Malaga?

No, I found the room on Facebook group

How much does it cost to live in Malaga?

depends on the lifestyle I know some Erasmus students who spent an insane amount of money on partying and traveling very weekend. but for me the cost were 350 for a room and then around 150-200 euro per month for food, partying and traveling.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I already spoke Spanish when I moved to malaga but I do know some friends who went for a language course

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Malaga from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Malaga?
