Why did you choose to go to Malaga, Spain?

Always wanted to do Erasmus in a place that had beach, and that was warm, because that's what fits in my personality, Malaga was without doubt the best choice!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is for 5 months and I received like 200 € per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Malaga?

It's great, the university it's not easy like people used to think, but it's really cool, because you learn so much and at the same time you know people that can help you a lot.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Malaga to other students?

Of course, it's a very rigorous University (depending on the subjects, of course). But the teachers are really good, and they can help you too!

What is the food like?

The food is good. The "Camperitos" and Paella are awesome! And the fish here is really good, great quality.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Malaga?

No, it wasn't hard. I found a flat in the city center on Facebook.

How much does it cost to live in Malaga?

It is a little bit expensive for me because in my country the things are cheaper, with the flat included I spent like 400€ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

You have to pay the university language course, but you are going to learn very fast and the teachers are amazing!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Malaga from your city?

By car/Bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Malaga?

Here exist a lot of good pubs/disco like, Sala Gold, Atlantic, Azucar.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Malaga?

Picasso Bar, 100 Montaditos, Raff, Traga Tapas and a lot of other ones.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, Museum del Vino and of course you have to see Gibralfaro and the Cathedral of Malaga.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Malaga in the future?

You gonna see with your own eyes that Malaga is a really nice place, I'm in love with this city, the people are really nice and they gonna make you feel like in home.
