What is the food like?

Not as good as I expected. Compared to other Spanish cities I have visited, in Malaga they offer very little choice and most of the tapas are fried. I went a few times to good restaurants and it seemed like they were offering the usual dishes but of a better quality. Mostly depends on perspectives though, if someone like junk food especially fried, this must be paradise.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Malaga?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Malaga?

I have been travelling around quite a lot and had extra expenses so it's complicated to say; but considering accommodation, food and some beers during the week I'd say around 500-600 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Spanish is relatively easy to learn, and yes, lots of courses and exchanges take place all around the city.

By plane.
