Malaga - one of the most touristic cities in Andalusia
Surely, Malaga is among the most famous and recognizable cities on the Andalusian Costa del Sol. Besides having an access to the sea, this beautiful city contains scenic beaches as well as stylish harbors. You can enjoy your time in wonderful restaurants, where you can get delighted by literary Spanish cuisine.

The interesting fact it is that Malaga is the birthplace of Pablo Ruiz Picasso, one of the greatest Spanish painters. That is why, you can visit the Museo Picasso Malaga in the center of the city. The museum offers various interesting exhibitions, one of the most interesting being of course the Picasso exhibition.
Another influential sight is the Roman Theatre, which is located in the central part of the city, right below the Malaga’s castle - Alcanzaba. This theater is a perfect reminder of the Roman Empire.

Alcanzaba known as “An Old Moorish Castle” is one of the most well-known buildings in Spanish cities. Alcanzaba in Malaga is very charming and inspiring. This castle can be reached by foot, as its location is on the hill next to the city center. From many towers of Alcanzaba you can enjoy the beauty of this Andalusian city, whereas inside the castle the views with green areas, flowers, fountains, and many courtyard gardens can be highly admired. The windows have multifoil arches, bringing visitors into the world of the Arabic style.

The Cathedral of Malaga is seen as a national landmark. This monumental and renaissance building, which was built on a rectangular area and is located in the heart of the city. The fun fact is that the cathedral was used as a mosque beforehand. The cathedral museum is now part of the cathedral, where one can observe religious objects, as well as ceramics and carvings.
