I'm a 20 y/o student just arrived here from Manchester. I'm looking for a room in madrid for 5 months (until february) preferably with other young spanish students. I am happy to help with English and obviously want to improve my Spanish. Not too bothered about location (Chamberi, Chamartin, Centro, Salamanca, Retiro, Atocha preferably) but would like to find people who are similar to me (active, sporty, up for a laugh, good atmosphere!) Soy chico ingles de veinte anos y he llegado de Manchester. Estoy buscando habitacion en madrid hasta febrero (5/6meses), con gente joven/estudiantes espanoles. Y tambien puedo ayudar con el ingles con tal de que vosotros ayudeis con mi espanol. La situacion no me preocupa muchisimo pero prefereria Chamberi, Chamartin, Centro, Salamanca, Retiro, Sol. La gente es la mas importante - busco gente joven, activa, deportista, buen rollo).

hey guys i have just arrived in Madrid yesterday, staying in a hostel in the chamberi area, i think! im studying at universidad comillas and the inductions don't start until next week as far as i am aware so i am feeling very stranded looking for flat shares on my own, if anyone fancies a drink or anything then message me! x

I am in Madrid since Friday and i am looking for a place ever since...Oh, I am here for erasmus as well!!Until february. So, I've seen maaaaaany "habitaciones en compartidos pisos", i have contacted with many people, but i'm still looking becoz something always goes wrong (they don't want an erasmus student, they don't want only for 6 months or they've already rent the room). I would prefer a place near the center and further east coz i'll study in Arte4, but if it is all good i don't have any problem. So, I would love to find a place with other students -so there won't be any problem like "you're too young" or "erasmus?only 6 months?nah!"- and have a nice cohabitation!

Oh..and i have called to this apartment i found at idealista.com ( http://www.idealista.com/pagina/inmueble?codigoinmueble=HW0000004166267&numInm=1&edd=list ) that is sooo beautiful. what is written in the advert is wrong, the truth is that the guy rents this whole apartment but he won't rent only one of the rooms, there must be 3 people to rent this. So if anyone is interested i need 2 more people!! Is the best apartment, at this price, i've seen... :) :) it's near parque del matadero!south of atocha!

Hi folks!
I am Fred, a French student about to arrive in Madrid around the 20th of September... and I have NO IDEA yet where to live there!
I am looking for a flatshare to live in for 6 months. No matter if it is to complete an already-existing flatshare or to gather with other international newcomers and find an apartment on our own, don't hesitate to call me !!
I will be studying in Compllutense, so I would be interested in a flat in its vicinity. But I have also heard about awesome other neighborhoods in Madrid... that I cannot remember the name! XD Anyhow, as long as I get along well with my flatmates, it will be great! :)
I speak French, English, Spanish and Portuguese (and a very little Dutch) so we may manage to understand each other.

The nearest area to Complutense university (campus of Ciudad Universitaria) is Moncloa, or Argüelles.
If your faculty is in another campus, just tell me.
