Hey! My name is Philipp (german) and i study at the UAM from september to february. I am searching for a flat that is somewhere i the town center, i think the near of the university is not that important in this semestre.^^
If someone got an idea or something, would be great to contact me!

dont live near the university, that would be the worse idea ever :DDDDD during the day theres good connection between the uni and the city centre but at nite...the public transport to go to the campus is quite limited sooo..DONT unless u want to be isolated ;D_

mmh well i guess if u look for a flat right in the city centre (sol, gran via, chueca, etc) is going to be more expensive than a flat in surrounding areas...i'd recommend you a suburb called Tetuan/Chamartin..its like half way from the city centre to the university, very well communicated by bus, metro and train, and i would say a flat in that area shouldnt be that expensive

No prob, it's just that some of my friends stayed at university flats in the campus...and they really did regret it because it's quite difficult to go back to the campus after a nite out unless you wait until 6 am :/

Mona Pankel Written 13 years ago
Hey Phillip,
I guess there is a language course for all of the erasmus students, at the Complutense de Madrid it starts at the 12th of september and at the 7th there will be the level test. I hope there will also start some erasmus-events, so that we all get to know each other:).
I will arrive at the beginning of september in madrid, what about you and the others? I am also still looking for a room in a shared appartment in the city center of Madrid, so if anyone has a room available, please contact me.
Thanks in advance,
Mona
