What attracts you to living in Madrid? Do you recommend it? What is it like?
Madrid is a city where dreams and opportunities are most likely to come to life - it only takes desire and effort to get what one truly wants. It's a safe city and is ideal for people who like an active pace of life. It has really charming places, and is a city where the people are willing to meet and get to know others, as Madrid welcomes people from all corners of Spain and the rest of the world.
What is student life like in Madrid?
There are lots of university students who come to Madrid to complete their higher education studies, so there's a really lively student atmosphere, especially in the Moncloa and Malasaña neighbourhoods.
How much does it cost to live in Madrid?
Being a capital city it's perhaps somewhat more expensive than other cities in Spain, like those in Murcia or Andalusia... But, if we compare it with prices in other European cities, Madrid is at the top of the list of the cheapest in Europe.
Was it difficult for you to find accommodation in Madrid? Can you give any advice about this?
It's easy to find accommodation. They usually request for you to pay 2 months' rent as deposit in order to move into a flat (but this depends from flat to flat).
What is the food like in Spain? What are your favourite dishes?
You can eat well in Madrid, you just have to search for the really nice places that have good food.

Which places would you recommend for nightlife in Madrid?
The neighbourhoods of La Latina, Malasaña, Callao, and Sol. In the north of Madrid, there are really good nightclubs and pubs/bars.
Is there any advice that you want to give to future students in Madrid?
I don't think there's anything left to say: it's a city to discover and experience for yourself in person.
