Why did you choose to go to Madrid, Spain?
I was offered a great opportunity for a work internship.
How long is your stay? What financial aid do you receive?
My stay is for 6 months, and I receive 1615€.
What's the student vibe like in Madrid?
Awesome!
Would you recommend the city and the university to other students?
The city of Madrid is amazing, and as for the university, I don't know as I'm doing a work internship!
What's the food like in Spain?
It's good food, definitely very different to French food, but there's some good specialities.
Did you have difficulty finding accommodation in Madrid?

What are living costs like in Madrid?
Considering it's a capital city, it's not expensive at all!
What's it like learning the language there? Did you take part in a language course organised by the university?
It's been easy to learn Spanish because it's similar to French. The best way to learn is by house-sharing with Spanish people and by going on nights out!
What's the most economical way to get to Madrid from your home town?
From Lyon, my home town, it's best to fly with EasyJet as tickets are between 40€-90€, depending on the season.
Where do you recommend to go out in Madrid?
The Latin Quarter and Alfonso Martinez are good areas for going out.
And to eat in Madrid? What are your favourite places?
There's a cool tapas bar called El Tigre.
What cultural places do you recommend visiting?
The Reina Sofia Museum and the Prado Museum.
Any advice for future students going to Madrid?
Go out and party! Make Spanish friends to learn the language quicker!
