What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's incredible. It's beautiful and there's always something to do. The metro (subway) is helpful, cheap and easy. I strongly recommend it. The city is awesome in every way.

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

Class was still hard, but they have a completely different grading scale. Also my grades were pass-fail, so I didn't have to work that hard.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

It's very cheap for a big city. Spain as a whole is cheap. It is cheaper than the vast majority of American cities.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

Nope, hostels and hotels are everywhere at an available price.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very fresh. Spanish people don't like tons of spices though so sometimes it's bland. Ham is everywhere and it's high quality. Croquetas are my favorite, it's a fried ball of ham and cheese, how bad can it be?

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

Amazing, "Kapital".

What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?

Find a place before you go, and try to live near your university, or near Sol.
