What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a big city, there are lots of things to do. People are friendly. The atmosphere is just amazing. I loved it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

It is perfect for any kind of student lifestyle. It can be relaxed or full of party.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

Around 500€-700€ per month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it is not. There are many websites where you can find accommodation such as idealista.com or segundamano.com

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It's extremely tasty and cheap. I love tortilla de patatas and croquetas.

What places would you recommend visiting in Madrid?

The obvious touristic places plus... Malasaña quarter, el capricho park, the Oscar's hotel terrace.

Is it good to eat out in Madrid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

As I said before, it's very tasty and very cheap. For students I recommend 'El tigre' (Hortaleza street)

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

It is one of the best things of Madrid. You can go out any day of the week. For erasmus students I recommend Joy Eslava

What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?

Getting the metro month pass (abono) must be their first thing to do and then...enjoy Madrid!
