What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Madrid is a perfect city to live in, for holidays... Madrid has everything (but beach). It has good parties, good and cheap food and the people is amazing.

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

Erasmus student? Party, party and more party. The other students have to make more things; )

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

I think you need the money for you room and 400€ plus.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

I think it is really easy but you must be careful because there are a lot of frauds.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Mediterranean diet...no words. In my opinion the best dishes are paella, cocido, ham with eggs, croquetas and Spanish omelette and for sure churros with chocolate in the mornings.

What places would you recommend visiting in Madrid?

Prado Museum, Retiro Park, Puerta del Sol, Debot Temple, Santiago Bernabeu stadium, Cibeles square, Manzanres river Park, Parque de las 7 tetas (Vallecas) and some clubs (Depends the type of the music).

Is it good to eat out in Madrid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's good and cheap. One of the favourite places for the tourist is the 100 montaditos franchise. Beer by 1, 5€ and a lot of Spanish mini sandwich.

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

It's perfect but not too cheap. Depends what type of music you want. If you want commercial music you have Kapital or Teatro Barceló. If you want techno music you have Mondo and Fabrik for sure.

What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?

Have a good time... and enjoy (And be careful with your phone in the suburban).
