What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Madrid is a city where a lot is happening at the same time, also you will meet many different nationalities. The life occurs mostly in the street, where people meet and drink. The city can be sometimes stressful, since the streets normally are always packed with people. The different areas of Madrid are very contrasted. It differs from alternative areas full of bars, where you find all kinds of music, to very silent areas with fancy clubs and restaurants. The prices are quite good, and very affordable for students. Madrid is a city with a lot of culture!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is good! Restaurants are good in some areas, and some maybe too simple. But there is a lot of very good chinese, indian, japanese and mexican restaurants. Fining really good tapas, is maybe a little bit harder. Try not to go to the typical Turistic restaurants, since you will pay for quite bad for for a lot of money.

The nightlife is good, i think there is something for every one and each taste.

Mondo disco: If you enjoy the more underground/techno, Mondo is good for rave!

With international DJ`s coming each weekend.

Goya 43: Is really good, they play deep house.

There are many commercial clubs too, like: Kapital, Gabana.. It depends on each person`s taste.
