What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is the best city in the world. Easy to make friends, good weather, good ambiance, and always something to do.
What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?
Party, a lot of party! (even when you are not student). But also, very good universities known around the world where you will receive an excellent education. Lessons usually are from 9 a. m. to 2 p. m., or from 3 p. m. to 8 p. m.
How much does it cost to live in Madrid?
Now it is more expensive than it used to be concerning appartments... anyway, if you are under 26, you will have your public transport card for 20 euros, and there are very cheap places to have a drink with friends.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?
Not as difficult as in other cities. Try Malasaña neighbourhood, where there are lots of erasmus people, or even Moncloa.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Paella, tortilla, croquetas and of course... cocido madrileño.
What places would you recommend visiting in Madrid?
Santiago Bernabéu stadium, hala Madrid!
Is it good to eat out in Madrid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
I can`t only say one.
Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?
Perfect. Try Teatro Kapital and Teatro Barceló.
What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?
Just enjoy this wonderful city and feel welcome.
