What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is a perfect city to meet people from different cultures. To live in Madrid means to eat always very good, to party till the next morning and to get home safe because the transport is amazing.

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

The student lifestyle in Madrid is awesome. So many different cultures get together. The park "El Retiro" is the best place to hang during the day and the clubs and Bars in the center are the best to party in the night.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

It is expensive to rent a place to stay in the center. But the public transport ant the restaurants are cheap.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult, there are many different options. From student residences, to apartments in the middle of Madrid's highlits.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Spanish food is the best. Fresh fish in Madrid is always a good dish to order, like the lubina or the dorada a la sal. Rape is also very good. And for meat any meat like entrecot, rabo de toro, solomillo... But you can not forget to order a paella de marisco, pan tomaca and the cocido madrileño.

What places would you recommend visiting in Madrid?

The palacio real, The cathedral, el parque de retiro, The museum reina Sofía, The museum picasso, The train station atocha, la plaza de toros, la plaza de españa, Mercado San Miguel (to eat), Sol and Gran Via

Is it good to eat out in Madrid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is very good to eat out in Madrid. My favorite place would be le coco or yakitoro. Any restaurant in Moncloa, Gran Via or Sol is good and affordable.

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

The night life in Madrid is the best. For girls in most clubs is gratis till 2'oclock. Pachá, B12, Comodoro, Kapital, Roccocó...

What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?

Spanish people are very nice but loud so make sure you rent a place that is not that close to loud environments because I assure you you won't be able to sleep in the night.
