What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Madrid is a very big city where you can find what ever you want. It is a bit crazy sometimes, but in my opinion it is the best city to live in.

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

The student lifestyle in Madrid is one of the best I have ever seen. We have a lot of good universities, good public transport, very nice and inexpensive houses for us, a lot of parties, good people, a lot of libraries, a lot of things to do.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

Very cheap! Spain is not expensive, so you do not have to worry about the money.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult to find accommodation. There are a lot of student residences, houses, hotels... I recommend you to rent in a student residence or going to a shared house.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

One of the most important things in Spain is the food. You can have "tapas" in the center, a "bocadillo de calamares" in the Plaza Mayor, a paella in a good restaurant... Madrid is full of good places to eat, terraces and good environment.

Is it good to eat out in Madrid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Madrid is full of good places to eat, terraces and good environment. Good places: Anel Tapas&Lounge is a very cool place next to puerta de Alcalá. In the district La Latina there are a lot of places where you can have a beer at night. All the restaurants in Madrid are good! I could write a thousand of them.

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

Nightlife in Madrid is great! You can go to: Pacha, Serrano41, Gabana, Kapital, Rococo, Nuit, New Garamond.

What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?

Have fun! You are going to miss it in a future...
