What is it like to live in Madrid? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Madrid is known for its people and food and atmosphere. It deserves it. Living in Madrid is an experience to every foreign as you will find all you need, from parties to the most silent places. The people is very welcoming so you will very soon understand what is it like to live in Madrid.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

Madrid can be quite flexible. It is something relative obviously as it depends on how much do you usually go out, or how often do you go to restaurants or clubs. But normally, prices are reasonable or a little bit above the average. But, trust, most of the times it will be worth spending.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult at all! It exists various options like sharing an apartment, renting one for you or perhaps going to a residence for students, known as 'Colegios Mayores'. This last one is the best option for you to go to as students will be everywhere!

What places would you recommend visiting in Madrid?

Besides the touristic places, I would recommend you to go to Circulo de las Bellas Artes, the rooftop deserves your visit. I would also go to Malasaña or if you are 17-20 and you have a car, drive to La Moraleja, to a spot called 'Hoyo 10'. It is always full of cars and young people drinking and listening to music, even at 5 pm!

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

It is unforgettable

The best places to go to are Teatro Barcelo, Gabbana ( expensive ), Goya (techno music), Fabrik (techno festival)...
