It’s a beautiful city with a lot of cultural options! Also the food is really good and there are loads of students so night life is great!

There are many students living in Madrid and you can find really nice options to spend your free time

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

It might be a little expensive if you live in the center (near Gran Vía, Alcalá...) but you can find really nice quarters to live. Food and public transportation are quite cheap

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Madrid? Is there any advice you can give?

I think renting an apartment might be expensive, so I would recommend search for accommodation with some anticipation

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

They are really good! You can have cocido, gazpacho, jamón, tapas...

What places would you recommend visiting in Madrid?

Puerta de Alcalá, Parque del Retiro, Museo Del Prado, Palacio Real, Santiago Bernabéu, templo de Debod, Gran Vía, Plaza del Sol, Plaza Mayor

Is it good to eat out in Madrid? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Lateral, Morao, 100 montaditos (quite cheap)

Is the nightlife good in Madrid? Where is good to go?

Kapital, Teatro Barceló are the biggest clubs but you can also find smaller ones like La Nuit

What advice would you give future students heading to Madrid?

Travel to the rest of Spain! Madrid is in the center of the country, you can spend some weekends visiting other near cities!
