Why did you choose to go to Madrid, Spain?
Because i could stay to the house of my boyfriend for free.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
6 months. 1740+424 when i will go back.(from Greece)

go to the classes, study at the library and some days go for ''tapas''
Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?
i recommend it to people that they are used to live in a big city
What is the food like?
snacks(tapas) and sadwiches(bocadillos)
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Madrid?
no
How much does it cost to live in Madrid?
about 60-70 euros per week
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
there are language courses in the universities, even though you can go and buy books for learning by youself (if you already know the basics). I did both. You can also search for classes at Escuela oficial de idiomas.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?
Mercado de San Miguel
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Madrid?
Mercado de San Miguel,Dionysos etc.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Museo del Prado, Museo de la Reina Sofia, Templo de Debod, Parque del Retiro etc.
Today i saw at the metro for first time a touristic plan try to find it because is very useful.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Madrid in the future?
If is winter, BRING CLOTHES FOR A LOT OF COLD!! average temperatures 0-10oC from November!
