Why did you choose to go to Madrid, Spain?

I was fascinated by the idea of experiencing Spanish culture

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The total of my schoolarship is of 1380€, all already received. mh staying will last till March 2017

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

The student lifestyle in Madrid is amazing! You have plenty of activities you can do in the city (from dancing to more cultural activities)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?

I personally study at the Universidad Europea de Madrid and I can say I find it a little bit too easy. Concerning the city I absolutely reccomend it for every kind of erasmus student.

What is the food like?

Being the capital Madrid has a great variety of places where to eat. you will of course find your favourite plates here

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Madrid?

not that much. check on the site called IDEALISTA! it is perfect to find spare rooms.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

living in the city centre costs around 400/450€ for a single room. if you decide to live in the suburbs the price decreases till 300/350€

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

language courses are always available. personally, being italian, i find the language very easy to learn.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?

bus and metro are perfect (you even have night bus). if you are a student under 26 years you will go in the whole region for 20€ per month.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?

all clubs near Sol!!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Madrid in the future?
