Why did you choose to go to Madrid, Spain?

I was on my way to study economics is in the U.S. A childhood friend of mine was studying in a small Spanish city called Pamplona. He was always good in talking me into things.I was baffled by my decision but I was already on my way to the Spanish embassy. What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

There is something for everybody in Madrid. It also depends on the type of crowd you are keeping. I always see people that follow the crowd without having the faintest idea, most times being oblivious to the pre-game or actual night club location.

Madrid is beautiful but you have to know where you are going the only time you should let the wind take you and explore is in the Sol and Gran via area (especially in the summer):). I always do it with some coffee in my left hand, Kent cigarette in my right and BT headphones on. cruising!
Students always have fun in Madrid. The nightlife can be overwhelming to an extent. I remember the number of times first timers came up asking a question a came to know so well. The question usually came up around 3.30 am. ``what time does the club close?´´ . Madrid could leave you gutted if you decide to go deep. I mean, you could find yourself walking out of a bar in the Cortes area at 10 30 am, with the sun on your face. Not knowing if you are hungry, thirsty or sleepy. Talk about mixed feelings!
Spanish people know how to have fun and that is the truth.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?
