Why did you choose to go to Madrid, Spain?

I wanted to learn a new language, and Madrid was the best city to learn Castellano. Besides, I wanted to liv in a big city, so the capital city of Spain was the first choice.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've been an Erasmus student for 5 months, and I've been given only 230 €/month, eich barely covered half my apartment fare.

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

Always partying and hanging out.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?

Sure, it's been the best experience of my whole life.

What is the food like?

Tapas are great and such places as 100 Montaditos or the Museo del Jamon are the best for student in Erasmus, even though I'm used to Italian food and Spanish food couldn't compare. :D

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Madrid?

Yes, finding a room it's been tremendous. I've looked one whole week for a room near my university, that unfortunately was near the center (Gregorio Marañon) and not in the university neighborhood, and it costed me a lot.

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

An accommodation is very expensive, but life is really cheap, even if you go out for dinner half the days!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me being Italian it's been a piece of cake learning Spanish, but generally it's not as easy as English to learn.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?

Ryanair!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?

I've already forgotten places's name, sorry, but Puerta de Sol is always crowded and full of night bars.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Madrid?

100 Montaditos and Museo del Jamón! xD
