Why did you choose to go to Madrid, Spain?

i have always wanted to visit spain... i also learned to speak spanish and when erasmus came i decided to choose the spanish capital as i thought and i was right it was the perfect choice

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 monthes... i received 424 euros per month but i think you need more...

What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

its perfect.. is full of young people and erasmus community is well organized!!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?

of cource i would!! i had the time of my life there!!

What is the food like?

just go to a tapas bar and enjoy the spanish cuisine!!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Madrid?

luckily i had a friend who had been living there already so at the beginning i stayed at her home until i found my own

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

i think around 600-700 euro per month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

for us greek it was pretty easy...i think for italias also!!! but in general is easy to learn spanish.. yes there was courses available in the university!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?

by plain with ryanair !!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?

there are hundreds of bars, clubs (discotecas!) so just find out the places with your favorite kind of music

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Madrid?

there are some really expensive so i would recomend tapas bars in order to drink and eat at the same time

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

the palace , the retiro park , prado museum , museum of modern arts and so many and many other places!!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Madrid in the future?

try not to miss any "botellon" events!! the best way to socialize and make new friends!!
