Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

This really depends on where you come from. For people from Europe (especially French and Italian people) it is doable to understand. When you are from further away, for example Korea or China it can be more difficult. At my university there were proper language courses available.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?

Metro. Madrid has a really good public transport system.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?

Yes, but it normally is very expensive. I recommend to drink before you go out. Since in some clubs it costs close to 15 euro for a drink.
